Introduction
Our major focus is on programming languages and programming techniques. For instance, we are exloring the foundations and frameworks of novel programming approaches, developing new programming language features, and realizing innovative programming environments. Based on these works, we promote the development of the SML# language and its compiler. See Research page for details.
In the education of undergraduate students, we respect their unalloyed interests and ideas, integrating them into information and computation systems without adhering the existing frameworks or faculty members’ interests. We believe that this policy allows us to approach the essense of software systems, programming, computation, and languages. See Curriculum and Publications for details on education and students’ activities, respectively. For faculty member’s academic activities, see faculty member’s page.
